Who is eligible for Medicaid?

There are 5 groups of people who are eligible for Medicaid. They are:

  1. Adults who are caring for their children who are under the age of 19 years
  2. Aged, over 65 years of age
  3. Blind
  4. Children who are under the age of 19 years
  5. Permanently disabled people, must be determined by Social Security or Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services
  6. Pregnant women
